Dispatch from Africa: On the Equator...

“Our second stop in Africa, Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Formerly a cattle ranch now a 90,000 acre conservancy committed to wildlife preservation, public education and research on how farming and ranching can coexist with wildlife. At an elevation averaging 6000 ft. midday temperatures were not as hot as you would expect being on the equator. The evenings and mornings had a surprising chill.”
