Although we don’t traditionally celebrate Thanksgiving in Africa, it’s a great opportunity to reflect on what we’re grateful for, but where do you start?
We live on a continent whose vast, colourful landscapes will leave you speechless, whose abundant wildlife will captivate you and whose climate is practically perfect most of the time.
We don’t pretend that it’s all sunshine and roses, for that would be very naïve. One reason to be especially grateful, however, is the phenomenal movement towards saving, protecting and re-building our paradise. We do this in the form of conservation projects, humanitarian efforts and environmental endeavours.
We live in hope that this movement spreads farther and wider so that we can leave behind a better world for our children, grandchildren and generations to come.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
