Putting together the perfect holiday for you is our passion and, to be honest, we’re often spoilt for choice in Africa. There are so many incredible places to see, activities to experience and properties to stay at, how do you choose?
We know that the holidays are about to start for many of you and while you are probably all set for your mid-year break, have you started thinking about your next trip? It’s never too early to get your wanderlust juices flowing, so we’ve decided to showcase some particularly great trips in this newsletter.
We have a unique once in a lifetime trip, a river adventure, a special offer and group adventure. If any of them sound just right for you, or if you would like to tweak any of them to make them even more perfect, then get in touch with us and we’ll start the planning.
Safari & Ice
What are you doing from the 12th of November to the 24th of November? Why not go on the trip of your lifetime?
This epic holiday starts with a luxurious four night stay at one of the magnificent Singita lodges in the Kruger National Park. Intimate and remote settings paired with the sounds and sights of wild Africa will bring out the pioneer in anyone. Spot wildlife from the comfort of the lodge or head into the bush with your guide and your tracker to see how wild Africa really is.
The adventure continues down to Cape Town, or as we like to call her, the Mother City. Two nights in the heart of the famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront at The One & Only sets you up perfectly to discover one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Two oceans, a extraordinary flat-topped mountain, vineyards for miles and an eclectic mix of culture, art and cuisine; there is nowhere like it.
This trip doesn’t stop at the southernmost tip of Africa, in fact, you’ll keep heading south until you reach the southernmost continent on earth, Antarctica. A vast, extraordinary wilderness of ice and snow where you may be lucky enough to witness the next generation of emperor penguins emerge. You could also go ice-climbing, hike through blue-ice tunnels and go on a trip to a local science base.
Does this trip sounds like it should be at the top of your bucket list? Get in touch with us now to find out more.
The Sanctuary Nile Adventurer has always been an exclusive ship. With just 32 cabins, award-winning chefs and riverside views to die for, this Egyptian gem is about to become even shinier.
The Nile Adventurer will settle back into the water in September this year boasting a fresh, sophisticated new look. The new serene colour scheme, luxurious fabrics, clever lighting and five-star amenities will enhance the sense of luxury and glamour.
It’s not often you get to relax on a beautiful sun deck, cocktail in hand and soak up the scenery as you silently sail past.

You’re Not Alone
It goes without saying that everyone has their own taste in music, their own style, their own favourite foods, and so on. It is therefore quite understandable that we all have our own ‘taste’ in travel.
A jam-packed, adventure-filled holiday to Victoria Falls may appeal to daring Daniel, but it’s probably not going to be at the top of yoga Yolanda’s holiday list. Some people like travelling on their own, some can’t leave the country without ten of their nearest and dearest, and some like to join a group of like-minded strangers – and that is where this next holiday comes in.
A small group guided tour in Namibia is the perfect opportunity to either travel with perfect strangers or experience a friends and family trip that will be hard to top.
This ten day “highlights tour” of Namibia includes:
- Guided Sossusvlei excursion
- Catamaran cruise in Walvis Bay
- Guided trip to Twyfelfontein
- Elephant excursion at Doro Nawas
- Guided Etosha excursions
- Okonjima afternoon activity
A key part of the tour will be guided by Orlando Haraseb, who has not only been nominated for several international guiding awards but won silver in the Wanderlust World Guide Awards, is a Certified First Class Tour Guide with the Namibian Academy for Tourism and Hospitality and is by far the most sought-after guide and birder in Namibia.
With six set departure dates (one in 2019 and five in 2020) this 10 day trip is open for bookings.

We’ll be back in July.
